In 2009, 23322 persons were convicted under Article 111 part 1 as the primary offence. 12670 of them (54.3%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 10542 (45.2%) got prison sentences. 14 persons acquitted. Under Article 111 part 2 as the primary offence 622 persons were convicted. 173 of them (27.8%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 447 (71.9%) got prison sentences. 2 persons acquitted. Cases involving 25 persons were terminated. 42 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 111 part 3 as the primary offence 1193 persons were convicted. 218 of them (18.3%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 975 (81.7%) got prison sentences. 7 persons acquitted. Cases involving 25 persons were terminated. 98 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 111 part 4 as the primary offence 10856 persons were convicted. 206 of them (1.9%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 10646 (98.1%) got prison sentences. 37 persons acquitted. Cases involving 388 persons were terminated. 330 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
