In 2016, 17807 persons were convicted under Article 116 part 1 as the primary offence. 878 of them (4.9%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 301 (1.7%) got prison sentences. 1150 persons acquitted. Cases involving 35745 persons were terminated. 4798 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 116 part 2 as the primary offence 1963 persons were convicted. 290 of them (14.8%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 222 (11.3%) got prison sentences. 1 person acquitted. Cases involving 1876 persons were terminated. 771 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
