In 2009, 13660 persons were convicted under Article 159 part 1 as the primary offence. 5414 of them (39.6%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 2237 (16.4%) got prison sentences. 32 persons acquitted. Cases involving 5974 persons were terminated. 4488 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 159 part 2 as the primary offence 12048 persons were convicted. 4891 of them (40.6%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 5110 (42.4%) got prison sentences. 29 persons acquitted. Cases involving 2915 persons were terminated. 8845 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 159 part 3 as the primary offence 4640 persons were convicted. 2876 of them (62%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 1234 (26.6%) got prison sentences. 87 persons acquitted. Cases involving 72 persons were terminated. 3661 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 159 part 4 as the primary offence 1881 persons were convicted. 680 of them (36.2%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 1192 (63.4%) got prison sentences. 56 persons acquitted. Cases involving 40 persons were terminated. 1988 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
