In 2009, 1547 persons were convicted under Article 231 part 1 as the primary offence. 830 of them (53.7%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 105 (6.8%) got prison sentences. 0 persons acquitted. Cases involving 63 persons were terminated. 361 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 231 part 2 as the primary offence 589 persons were convicted. 421 of them (71.5%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 141 (23.9%) got prison sentences. 1 person acquitted. Cases involving 7 persons were terminated. 168 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
