In 2009, 6188 persons were convicted under Article 318 part 1 as the primary offence. 3252 of them (52.6%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 1159 (18.7%) got prison sentences. 10 persons acquitted. Cases involving 1001 persons were terminated. 427 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 318 part 2 as the primary offence 934 persons were convicted. 555 of them (59.4%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 362 (38.8%) got prison sentences. 2 persons acquitted. Cases involving 38 persons were terminated. 41 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
