In 2016, 7089 persons were convicted under Article 318 part 1 as the primary offence. 3265 of them (46.1%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 1436 (20.3%) got prison sentences. 2 persons acquitted. Cases involving 702 persons were terminated. 319 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
Under Article 318 part 2 as the primary offence 930 persons were convicted. 467 of them (50.2%) were sentenced to a suspended imprisonment, another 453 (48.7%) got prison sentences. 0 persons acquitted. Cases involving 48 persons were terminated. 27 persons were convicted for the additional offence.
